I've had these shorts for 1.5 years. I wear them every day for work, I wear them for camping, backpacking, I wear them for everything. I'm also extremely hard on everything I own, and if something doesn't break within 6 months, I generally consider it to be good quality. With that said, these shorts are very solid quality. They stick very well, dry rapidly, and have a little give when crouching, or crawling. The color seems to hold fast as well. The only complaints I have are that there is a stitch coming undone, but mind you, I have worn them for literally hundreds of hours. Most people will never wears these as much as I do. The final complaint I have is about the button snap. The snap isn't that strong, and can come undone at times. But, I wear a belt, so I never notice until I need to un-do it. All in all, good quality. I'm actually looking to buy another pair.I loved the shorts until they started pilling. I've loved their clothes and was surprised when I was told that is not covered by the warranty ...but they'd give me all they could - 25% off my next Kuhl purchase. I thought that was crazy but when I went to their website to place an order, the cost of shipping ate up most of the discount. I'm sorry to see Kuhl go down this road.
